Pick you up from hotel on departure time (around 08:30), and then drive to the majestic lake - Beijing Rear Lake Area (Shi Cha Hai Lake). Shi Cha Hai Lake is a majestic lake situated in downtown Beijing. For centuries it has provided local residents with a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of the day. More recently, the lake has benefited from improvements to its environment which has worked to enhance its natural charms. Clear weather offers superb views from Rear Lake Area to the distant Fragrant Hills. Although once a quiet location frequented by artists, it is now lined with more bars and restaurants.
 
You will be arranged to have Hutong Tour includes a rickshaw ride through some of the most interesting hutongs still standing, a visit to the historic Drum Tower, and having a cup of tea while visiting with a local hutong family in their hutong home.Hutong are a kind of ancient city alley or lane that is typical in Beijing, many were built during the three dynasties of Yuan, Ming and Qing. During these dynasties, the emperors planned the city and arranged the residential areas according to the etiquette systems of the Zhou Dynasty to establish supreme power. Today, Hutong is a living museum of Beijing history, showing the traditional lifestyle of Beijing people. The beauty of Hutong lies in its unchanging ordinariness, simplicity and closeness to the common folk. While visiting the hutongs in Beijing, you will gain a greater understanding of the common people as well as the history of the ancient and modern Beijing. Hutong tour lasts for about 1.5 hours, led by local guide you will visit the typical Chinese quadrangles to experience the real life of ordinary people live in Beijing, and pass many famous old building, like the Drum Tower, Silver Bridge, etc.
 
Afer Chinese style lunch, go to visit a tea workshop to enjoy tea ceremony and learn Chinese traditional culture (40 minutes), at the same time, you can have a short rest.
Afternoon, go to visit Lama Temple, or Yonghe Gong in Chinese, which is the largest Tibetan Buddhist Lama Temple in Beijing. Lama Temple was built in the 33rd year of Kangxi Reign in the Qing Dynasty (1694) as the mansion for Emperor Yongzheng when he was a prince. The whole perfect layout looks majestic with the characteristics of Manchu, Han, Tibetan and Mongolian cultures. The Lama Temple is a tranquil spot, except during the spring festival(Chinese new year)when it seems all of China’s Buddhists throng its altars to burn bushels of incense and pray for goodfortune.
After the tour, you will be transferred back to hotel around 17:00.
