Day 1 Airport to hotel
Pick up travelers at the Beijing Capital Airport by our driver, then transfer to traveler's hotel for checking in, free at leisure
Day 2 Great Wall and Ming Tombs. Breakfast,Lunch
After breakfast, arrange travelers to join in our coach tour to visit the Great Wall and Ming Tombs.
Pick-up from your hotel between 7:20am and 8:30am, and then drive to Ming Tomes (50 miles away from downtown about one hour driving).
The tombs of 13 Ming dynasty emperors and their consorts are scattered in a gorgeous valley 45km northwest of Beijing, all but three of the Ming emperors lies in Nanjing, the tomb of the second emperor remains unknown as he had his throne usurped by his uncle and another emperor was considered illegitimate and wasn’t given the honor of an imperial tomb.The sightseeing on the Ming Tombs takes about 1 hour. The visit to Ming Tombs finishes at about 10:45.
Before having lunch (11:30 am), you will have 45 minutes for a short visit of Friend Yongsheng Jade Carving Factory. The jade carving is a famous special Chinese product, a blend of the excellent skill on carving and Chinese traditional cultures.
Having traditional Chinese lunch at Jindian restaurant. After lunch, driving to the Badaling Great Wall. Badaling is situated at the very top of the mountain to the north of Guangou Valley. There is a narrow path leading to the top of the two precipitous mountains. the Badaling Great wall is built in between two mountains and was constructed to be a communications center. North of Badaling, you can travel to Kangzhuang, Huailai, datong and Zhangjiakou; to the east, you can reach Yongning, Sihai and Miyun; to the south you can go to Beijing city proper via Changping, Since the traffic is nice, so it is called Badaling (Eight Prominent Peaks) .Cable car is available and optional.
On the way to your hotels, we also arrange a short visit to "the Birds Nest"---the main Olympic Stadium now being built for the 2008 Olympic Games. After that, you will have a chance to enjoy the Chinese traditional Silk arts. After the tour, transferred back to your hotels.
Day 3 Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, summer palace. Breakfast,Lunch
Pick up at your hotel between 7:20am and 8:30am, and then driving to the Forbidden City, The abode of 24 Ming and Qing emperors of the celestial Empire, the forbidden city is a fittingly awe-inspiring sight, Enclosed behind it’s moat and 9.9m high walls are 980 buildings, vast courtyards and long corridors that occupy a total area of 720,000 square meters.Visit the Forbidden City along the central axis from south to north for 2 hours.
On the way to Temple of Heaven, you will have a chance to visit the Chinese traditional medicine culture. After having a short rest, we'll visit the Temple of Heaven -- The temple of heaven served Ming and Qing dynasty emperors as a vast sacred space to perform ceremonial rites on behalf of the Chinese nation, the layout of the compound reflects its religious purpose and so adheres to geomantic precepts, for instance, the northern end of the park is curved while the southern end is square, reflecting the traditional Chinese conception of heaven as round and earth as square .likewise, the park gates are located at the four cardinal points.
The visit to Temple of Heaven takes about 1 hour.
After Western and Chinese buffet lunch ( 40minutes ) in Bangfuchun Restaurant, enjoy a short visit to a pearl free market not missed.
Driving (30minutes) to Summer Palace, the Summer palace is a wonderful place to explore, as long ago as the Yuan dynasty, officials set up their private gardens in the scenic area, but the summer palace didn’t take on its present appearance until the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing dynasty. He deepened the park’s manmade lake and added building to serve as a ‘country home’ for his mother, though it would be the Empress Dowager Cixi who would have the biggest impact on the palace’s appearance. The visit takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Transferred back to your hotels.
Day 4 Beijing Zoo,Lama Temple,Hutong tour Breakfast,Lunch
Pick up at your hotel between 7:00am and 8:30am, and then driving to Beijing Zoo where you can see the lovely Giant Pandas. The Panda Zoo visit takes about 40 minutes. Then take you to the largest Lama Temple of Beijing --- Yonghe Temple, 1 hour tour for the mysterious Tibet style Buddhism temple. The Lama Temple tour finishes at about 11:00. Before having lunch (12:00), you will have 45 minutes to visit the Chinese traditional handicraft silk carpet factory.
You will be arranged to have lunch with locals in a typical Beijing resident's house. Then you will be arranged to visit the old Beijing lanes by taking rickshaws. Hutong tour lasts for 2 hours. You will visit the typical Chinese quadrangles, primary school, many famous old buildings, like the bell tower, where you can explore the real life of ordinary people in Beijing.
We will arrange 45 minutes to take pictures at the Bird's nest and water cube. If you are interested in the inner structure of the stadiums, the tour guide will assist you in buying the tickets, and you could enter in the stadiums for a visit yourself. Driving the travelers back to their hotel.
On the way to your hotels, we also arrange the short visit to a China Tea House to enjoy tea ceremony. Transferred back to your hotels.
Day 5 Airport transfer and see-off service Breakfast
free at leisure, our dirver will according your depart time to pick up you from your hotel to beijing international Airport.
