Tian'anmen Square
Introduction: is the spiritual heart of the world’s most populous
country, occupy an area of 44 hectares (440,000 square meters),big enough to
hold (half) a million people.On October 1st,1949,Mao climbed atop the 'gate of
Heavenly Peace'. which gives the square it's name, to proclaim the foundation of
the people's Republic of China. On the square's north end is the Gate of
Heavenly Peace, which leads towards the Forbidden City .in the centre of the
square is the 40m-high Monument to the People's Heroes., chairman mao's
mausoleum, on the square's east side house is Chinese history and revolution
Museum, on the west is the Great Hall of the People.
Forbidden
City Introduction:
The abode of 24 Ming and Qing emperors of the
celestial Empire, the forbidden city is a fittingly awe-inspiring sight,
Enclosed behind it's moat and 9.9m high walls are 980 buildings, vast courtyards
and long corridors that occupy a total area of 720,000 square meters, It's
alleged that as many as 1,000,000 workers and 100,000 artisans participated in
the construction of this imperial palace, which began in 1406 and was completed
in 1420 during the reign of Ming dynasty, the last emperor Puyi, left the
Forbidden city in 1924,11 years after his abdication and the establishment of
the Republic of China, after Puyi's departure, the Forbidden city, which had
long been off-limits to most mortals, was opened to the public, Hence its
current Chinese name, gugong bowuyuan, meaning "the palace
Museum".
Summer Palace Introduction:
The Summer palace is
a wonderful place to explore, as long ago as the Yuan dynasty, officials set up
their private gardens in the scenic area, but the summer palace didn't take on
its present appearance until the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing dynasty.
He deepened the park's manmade lake and added building to serve as a 'country
home' for his mother, though it would be the Empress Dowager Cixi who would have
the biggest impact on the palace's appearance.

Itinerary:
Pick you up from your hotel on departure
time, and then drive to the Great
Wall.
Go to visit famous cloisonne factory or jade factory on the way
to Great Wall.
Full day trip to the Great Wall, Ming Tomb.
Enjoy a
Chinese typical dinner .
In the evening (7:15~8:30PM), enjoy the Chinese
Acrobat, or Chinese Kongfu show, choose one show from these three options,
depending on your interest.
Great Wall Introduction:
The great wall snakes
its way across northern China, from the yellow sea and past the Gobi Desert for
some 6000Km, it’s a remarkable place of engineering and is the most famous
symbol of China. the genesis of the Great wall dates to the warring States
period from 475 to 221 BC, when Chinese feudal kingdoms built earthen ramparts
to defend against nomadic invaders. the sections of the Great wall near Beijing
were renovated during the Ming dynasty.
The Ming Tomb
Introduction:
The tombs of 13 Ming dynasty emperors and their
consorts are scattered in a gorgeous valley 45km northwest of Beijing, all but
three of the Ming emperors lies in Nanjing, the tomb of the second emperor
remains unknown as he had his throne usurped by his uncle and another emperor
was considered illegitimate and wasn’t given the honor of an imperial
tomb.

Itinerary:
1.We will drive to Hutong. A tour to
Beijing Rear Lake area(Shi Cha Lake). visitors will be arranged to visit the old
Beijing lanes by rickshaws bicycle ride, across many narrow streets, Hutong tour
lasts for about 2 hours, led by local guide, visitors will visit the typical
Chinese quadrangles, where you can experience the real life of ordinary people
live in Beijing, and pass many famous old building, like the drum tower, Silver
Bridge, etc.

to airport,take flight to Xian.
Temple of Heaven
Introduction:
The temple of heaven served Ming and Qing dynasty
emperors as a vast sacred space to perform ceremonial rites on behalf of the
Chinese nation, the layout of the compound reflects its religious purpose and so
adheres to geomantic precepts, for instance, the northern end of the park is
curved while the southern end is square, reflecting the traditional Chinese
conception of heaven as round and earth as square .likewise, the park gates are
located at the four cardinal points.

4.Taste delicious local Dumplings, One of
the highlights in Xi'an is a Tang Dynasty Show , The show is a performance of
Chang'an music and dance originated in China's Tang Dynasty over a thousand
years ago. It has been recreated in accordance with various historical records
as well as ancient art and relics discovered in Xian, the capital of the empire
during the Tang Dynasty
Terracotta Warriors and Horses
Museum Introduction:
The
terracotta warriors were created by the first Emperor of China. The Terracotta
Army has lain underground for more than 2000 years. However, in 1974, farmers
digging a well uncovered one of the greatest archaeological sites in the world.
The first part of the Terracotta Army site to be discovered was named Vault One.
In 1976, two other vaults were uncovered 20-25 meters from Vault One, and were
named Vault Two and Vault Three. The Terracotta Army figures supply abundant and
detailed artifacts for the study of the military, cultural and economic history
of that period
Huaqing Hot Spring
Introduction:
Located at the northern foot of Mt. Lishan in Lindong
County of Shaanxi Province, 30 kilometers from Xian, Huaqing Hot Springs is a
state place of interest as well as scenic spot. The hot springs are famous
because of Yang Guifei, a regular guest and the central character in one of
China's most enduring legends of ill-fated love.The spring water contains limes,
sodium carbonate, sodium sulfate, and other materials, which makes it suitable
for bathing and the treatment of quite a few diseases such as dermatosis,
rheumatism arthritis, and muscular pain.

Introduction
The museum
preparatory department was founded in March of 1953, the museum display building
began to construct to the south of the August First Square in July of 1957 and
the Museum was formally open to the public in July first of 1961.It is the
largest comprehensive museum in the province.the museum exhibits over 3,000
historical relics, a small fraction of their collection, ranging from
115,000-year-old prehistoric artifacts to items from the Opium wars of the
1840's. the main attraction of the museum is the magnificent collection of Tang
dynasty artifacts. Of special significance are the bronze pieces and the tang
gold and silverware, the terracotta pieces and murals from Tang dynasty
tombs.the museum is built in a traditional Tang dynasty architectural style is
modern and well designed.
Great
Mosque Introduction:
The Great Mosque in Xian is one of the oldest, largest and
best-preserved Islamic mosques in China and its location is northwest of the
Drum Tower (Gu Lou) on Huajue Lane. This mosque was built in 742 during the Tang
Dynasty (618-907). The Muslim played an important role in the unifications of
China during the Yuan and Ming Dynasties. Hence, other mosques were also built
to honor them.
City Wall
Introduction:
After the establishment of
the Ming dynasty, Zhu Yuanzhang followed his advice and began to enlarge the
wall built initially during the old Tang dynasty (618 -907), creating the modern
Xian City Wall. It's the most complete city wall that has survived in China, as
well being one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the
world.
Day 7 Xian to Chongqing to Yangtze

towns. The temples managed by immortals from Taoism, Buddhism, and Confucianism
in chthonic area.

Introduction:
Shen Nong Stream is a tributary of the Yangtze
River,The banks of the Shen Nong Stream have been inhabited since at least the
Han Dynasty; the primary ethnic group of the river valley has been the Thuja
people. Early history of settlement in the Shen Nong Gorge is evinced by the
hanging coffins stowed in clefts on the high vertical limestone clefts; it is a
puzzle to modern man as to how the heavy coffins were stowed on such steep,
ostensibly inaccessible places. The Shen Nong Stream Valley is also the site of
a number of historical battles in Chinese history.
